Payments are messy—Migration from an outdated Zuora + SOAP API setup to Stripe. High stakes (and high risk to revenue). Now, new users onboard through a fully self-serve, conversion-optimized plan page that’s built to scale.

Live Embeddings

Built a secure, interactive KPI embed that lets any website surface live performance data—because metrics shouldn’t just sit in dashboards.

CSS Vars

Migrated an outdated theming system using styled-components with a massive theme constant values to the powerful CSS3 theming vars native implementation. Which also had a nice side-effect with our Figma dev mode. That allowed designers to own the theming configuration.

Searchlight

Used embeddings to bring smart, contextual search to anything stored in PowerMetrics—making all in-app content instantly discoverable. Wrapped it in a sleek Command+K UI for that snappy, Notion-style feel.

Website Split

Led a major web split—moving from a single klipfolio.com hub to two product-focused sites, including the new powermetrics.app. Built with Next.js 15 + next-on-pages for edge-to-edge caching and real-time updates. Data’s driven by a self-hosted Directus CMS on Kubernetes, fully managed with ArgoCD.
